We recently replaced our crane mounted trailer with a new 4-axle semi trailer fitted with a Fassi 110 Ton metre crane.

“The biggest improvement with the trailer is the increased loading space available of 10 metres, whereas the old trailer had only 8 metres”, said MD Jayson Flegg, “We have also fitted a larger capacity crane with more extensions, enabling us to lift more weight over a longer distance”.

The trailer will be accompanied by a brand new DAF 105XF tractor unit that is fitted with a larger engine.

Our previous tractor was slightly under powered for this type of work and fuel economy suffered, so we decided to go for a bigger engine which we expect to improve the fuel figures.
